We are an independent Second generation family run jewellers in the heart of Staffordshire since 1993. Born from a love of jewellery, Peter and Avril Plant created Plants the jewellers as a simple shop offering classic jewellery and clocks. It has developed into a multifaceted business offering many services and a door to the jewellery quarter on your door step. It is now run by their two Daughters Grace and Ellie.

We offer a carefully curated collection of beautiful and distinctive jewellery, available in-store to suit a wide range of styles and budgets, from elegant sterling silver earrings to exquisite diamond pieces, engagement rings, and wedding bands.
In addition to our retail collection, we provide a comprehensive jewellery and watch repair service. Many repairs are completed on-site by our experienced team, while more specialist work is entrusted to highly skilled craftspeople to ensure the highest standard of finish and care.
We also specialise in bespoke jewellery design and manufacture, creating custom engagement rings, wedding bands, and one of a kind pieces tailored to your individual vision. Whether you are marking a special occasion or designing something truly personal, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Hi, I'm Grace, and I head up the team at Plants the Jewellers, overseeing the day-to-day running of the business.
I'm a fully qualified Gemmologist and qualified Jewellery Valuer with over 25 years' experience in the jewellery industry.
I genuinely love every aspect of this profession. Whether I'm helping someone choose the perfect engagement ring, designing a bespoke piece, valuing a treasured collection, or restoring a much-loved family heirloom, it's a privilege to be part of so many special moments in our customers' lives.
Meeting new people every day and building lasting relationships with our customers is what makes this career so rewarding. I'm passionate about offering honest advice, exceptional craftsmanship and personal service, ensuring every customer leaves with something they'll treasure for years to come.

My name is Ellie, and I am a fully trained goldsmith with over 23 years’ experience in the jewellery trade. I specialise in carrying out the majority of jewellery repairs at our shop, combining traditional goldsmithing skills with a wealth of practical knowledge and expertise. Over the years, I have developed a deep understanding of jewellery craftsmanship, allowing me to provide customers with expert guidance and thoughtful advice on repairs, restoration, and remodelling projects. I take great pride in helping customers preserve, enhance, and transform their treasured pieces with care, precision, and attention to detail.

Sales Coordinator
My name is Caroline, and I have been a member of the Plants team for five years. With over 30 years of experience in retail, I have always enjoyed building relationships with customers and providing a friendly, helpful, and personalised service. I take great pleasure in meeting new people every day and helping customers find exactly what they are looking for. I believe that no request is too much trouble, and I always strive to make every customer’s experience a positive one. Since joining the team, I have developed a real passion for the jewellery industry and have enjoyed learning more about the craftsmanship, care, and expertise that goes into every piece. Some customers may recognise me from my previous roles at Chantilly in Stone or Peter Bowers Optometrist.
